Message	you (and I'm sure many others) have no appreciation for what's involved in making something like that. This is what I do; metal working, machining, injection molding and other fabrication processes. I can appreciate the cost of even a "soft" tooled part. You HAVE to spread that cost over a number of units which you feel is a reasonable number to hit. If you spread it over 2000 units to keep the costs low, but only sell 500, you're out 75% of your tool cost. People don't get this. Now if you explain this to them, and they still deny and cry about the price, then they should be driving an 88 Civic.
